Based on the view that “creativity” is an important foundation for children’s development and also an invaluable source of inspiration for the design world, this concept is inspired by the freedom of imagination that is typical of childhood. The shoe design wants to revive the spirit of play and pure imagination. With every step, with the hope of bringing a smile to the face of every user, inspiring them to keep the spirit of wonder and freedom of expression in their lives.
The visual identity of IMAJI captures the essence of childhood through illustrations that reflect the innocence, joy, and boundless imagination of children. The color palette is inspired by the everyday visual world of kids—vibrant hues found in their toys, crayons, marbles, and bright-colored clothing, creating a sense of familiarity and warmth. To introduce a fresh and unique approach, the shoe packaging design incorporates circular geometric shapes. Rounded forms, such as circles and ovals, are often associated with softness and friendliness, mirroring the playful and affectionate nature of children. This design choice not only enhances visual appeal but also fosters positive associations, making the brand more engaging and inviting.
